Aviation Writer preserving the heritage of Russian Aviation |
| A resident of Yakutsk
since 1961, Negenblya was a Chief of Engineering, Aviation Service, and
Senior Teacher at the Training Center of Yakutsk Civil Aviation Administration
(Aeroflot). A serious illness partially paralyzed him where he could
no longer perform his duties at Aeroflot. However, that didn't stop
Ivan from pursuing his other passion -- writing about the history of aviation
in Northern Russia. His essays and articles on than theme, and some
devoted to Aeroflot problems, are published in newspapers and magazines.
In Yakutsk, in 1990, Negenblya published his first book of essays, "The
Formula of the Lift Power".
When Everett made his historic flight in the same year, the two writers developed the concept of Cobras Over The Tundra. Everett's second trip to Yakutsk, a week after the famous coup, was devoted to writing this book. Ivan has since written nine books, all on the subject of aviation in Russia. |
